16-18 sept 2011 - LANGKAWI

This blog has been abandoned due to laziness and lack of time. Ibu has been very busy with classes ,etc..etc..thus she has no time to write anything in the blog. These are the pictures taken during our short break in Langkawi. Langkawi was crowded with people due to the long weekend, anyway we enjoyed ourselves. We went to Underwater world- abang, kakak and adik really enjoyed themselves -looking at the animals and fishes. This time around kakak and adik could appreciate the visits that we made in Langkawi. Two years ago when we were here they were too young to enjoy the trip.We stayed at Green Village- ok- but since it was raining in Langkawi we had a lot of tiny visitor@baby frogs in our room-especially the toilet. At first ibu was geli-geleman but finally she gave -up and accept the visitors halfheartedly. Abang and ayah were the heroes- frog buster! The pool was great- nobody was around when we had our pool-time-Abang, adik and kakak really enjoyed their pool time.Apart from that we also went to Pantai Chenang-for the first time!We were impressed! Next holiday- must find a chalet which is on the beach itself. We also went for cable car ride-unfortunately there were too many people on Saturday-so we went again on Sunday morning but....too foggy-thus we were not able to enjoy the beautiful scenery! Next holiday- should go in the evening to watch sunset. After cable car- we went boating/paddling- berpeluh-good exercise!ping?Shopping- not the main agenda- however ibu bought kain batik, key chains and tefal frying pan-with a very good 50% discount- only RM44.90 for 28 inch non-stick- ibu was beaming when she bought that.We wanted to buy chocolate but to our disappointment most chocolate in Langkawi are 'shubahah" -most of the chocolate contain "whey powder' and 'vanilin"- so we only bought Malaysia product-ibu's fav.=CADBURY made in MALAYSIA with JAKIM'S HALAL LOGO- (mencari yang halal itu wajib). Ibu strongly feels that Haji Ismail groups -kedai- should make sure that all the chocolate that they are selling are halal. It's not just about separating chocolate with liquor but also chocolate which contain 'shubahah' ingredients such as, vanilin and whey powder- DAIM,FERRARO, etc.  They should write/contact the manufactures-to confirm that the chocolate are halal to be consumed by Muslims, since majority of the customers are Muslims and they are also Muslims! Have to stop now...enjoy the photos!
